The East Mediterranean Federation of Sexual Health (EMFeSH)
The East Mediterranean Federation of Sexual Health (EMFeSH), a member organisation of the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS), promotes and advocates for sexual reproductive health and rights throughout the lifespan and across the East Mediterranean region by advancing policy change, inclusive service provision, intersectionality research, science-based sexuality resources, comprehensive sexuality education, and outreach.
Our Purpose
The purpose of EMFeSH is to advance national and regional education/formation/training and cooperation in the field of sexuality, and sexual health by supporting, facilitating, and coordinating initiatives and activities designed to generate context-specific research, education, and resources in sexuality and sexual health, including sexuality education, quality integrated sexual health services across lifespan, and the recognition and fulfilment of sexual reproductive rights throughout the East Mediterranean.
Our Mission

Advance the discussions and exchange that normalizes the discourse of sexuality and sexual health.

Developing the field of sexuality, sexual health, and sexology.

Promoting scientific and ethical standards for educating professional and others working in the area.

Establish and maintain working relations with WAS, regional and international agencies, organizations and professional societies in close coordination with WAS.
